Sample of an order form with basic workflow
We have built an order form that demonstrates the working of a workflow process in Formdesk.
It is a basic order form that needs to be approved by the manager.
Formdesk enables you to create extreme complex workflows. For this sample, however, we will demonstrate a very simple workflow with a single approval as drawn in the diagram on the right.
When the order form is submitted, the email messages A and B will be sent out first. From within message B the manager will be able to access and supplement the form. He will have the following choices:
the office supply department will receive message F and the workflow process ends.
message D will be sent and the workflow process ends.
To be modified:
message C will be sent and the employee will be able to modify his order after which the workflow will restart.
Normally, the email messages are sent to different parties. For demonstration purpose, however, they will all be sent to you. To do so, we ask for your email address below.
Also, for demonstration purpose, we included the letter of the message as printed in the diagram in the message subject.
Furthermore, all messages will start with a blue frame containing comment and instructions about that message.
If you wish, you can
copy the form
to your Formdesk account.
demonstrates how to set up this workflow.
