Display confirmation screen prior to submission |
With this option enabled, the user of your form will get a confirmation screen after filling in the form in which the form entries are displayed. The user can then choose to modify or confirm the entries. |
This document discusses the following:
How do I enable the confirmation screen? |
Go to the Settings tab of your form. In the section 'Checks & Validations' enable the option as illustrated below.
Upon submitting the form, a default message is displayed, showing the completed form. Users can now confirm the entries, or choose to modify them.
To customize this message click the ‘Edit confirmation...’ button. This will open a new browser window.
If you wish, you can set up the message in HTML. Simply click the HTML tab to do so.
Note: You cannot use and tags in this message. Formdesk inserts your message within the tag.
Entries of the completed form and other variable data can be added using merge codes by simply clicking on the [abc] button on the toolbar. For instance: to insert a copy of the completed form into your message, use the [_fd_completedform] code. (more about this system code)
While using merge codes, it can sometimes be useful to check the operation of the codes. To do so, click the Preview tab. To generate the preview, Formdesk uses the latest result received on your form. If you have no results, Formdesk will ask you to fill out the form once.
